Dollar Tree Prices Aren’t Going to Be $1 Anymore

Say goodbye to the thrill of walking into the Dollar Tree knowing you everything is $1, because the company has announced they are raising prices to cope with shipping costs and inflation.

What does that mean for you? Well you can expect to pay $1, $1.25, $1.50 and even $5.00 for some items, as the CEO has said that they will also bring in higher priced items in the store to sell.

The CEO said in a statement, “Our brand promise is that customers get great value for what they spend at Dollar Tree. We will continue to be fiercely protective of that promise, regardless of the price point, whether it is $1.00, $1.25, $1.50.”

The CEO added, “We believe testing additional price points above $1 for Dollar Tree product will enable us over time to expand our assortments, introduce new products and meet more of our customers’ everyday needs.”

I don’t know about you, but I will buy anything if it’s “just a dollar”…$1.25 is gonna make me think twice.

Is the thrill gone for you knowing you can no longer go into Dollar Tree and get 10 items for $10?
