Brett Young confesses that when he thought about having children, he always wanted a boy. “I think all men initially think they just want boys,” he says.

So far though. Brett and his wife Taylor have their 20-month-old daughter, Presley, and a second daughter on the way. But he recently shared a funny story about how he became very grateful to be having another daughter. “Our across the street neighbors, their oldest is a girl and then they went boy, boy,” Brett shared. And the youngest boy is Presley‘s age. The older boy’s only a few years older. And we went over for like a play date, and we had just found out Taylor was pregnant again but we didn’t know if it was gonna be a boy or a girl yet. And, their oldest daughter and my daughter just sat on the couch very chill, hangin’ out, while the two boys chased each other around the coffee table for two hours straight and never stopped screaming and throwing things at each other.”

Brett confessed that after witnessing all of that, “In my head, I was like, ‘Oh God, I hope the second one’s a girl!’”

Brett’s second daughter is due next month, but he has hinted that he and Taylor might want at least one more child, so maybe a boy will be in his future.
