Justin Moore’s band is full of seasoned pros who take what they do seriously who often spend their days getting ready for shows in their own ways. “A lot of times, me and my band, the first time we see each other all day, outside of catering or somethin’, is two minutes before the show,” says Justin. “We take a shot together right behind the stage. We walk on stage and go. That’s pretty much it.”
They may run into each other when they’re eating dinner or walking from point A to point B backstage, but Justin says, “A lot of my guys are the ones that are in the dressing rooms all day or hotel rooms, playing with their headphones in, recording or practicing..” And he admits, “I’m the guy who sits on the bus and watches either stupid funny movies or westerns all day, or goes and plays golf or something like that.”
The good news is, Justin and his band have been together so long and know each other so well on stage that they don’t need to spend hours and hours together during the day to put on an awesome, cohesive show every night.
