After eight seasons on the show, Emily Wickersham has confirmed she will be leaving NCIS.
Emily, who plays “Ellie Bishop” on the show, shared the news with a touching message on social media.
She wrote, “Hangin this hat and jacket up. What a great ride it’s been.”

Emily joined the series in season 11. In the season 18 finale, “Ellie” sets herself up as a “disgraced NCIS agent” to go on an undercover assignment. She states she will be gone for a long time when she says goodbye to NCIS Agent Torres (played by Wilmer Valderrama).
