Last night (4/12) was the final night of the Battle Rounds on season 20 of The Voice. Blake Shelton had one final pairing and a “Steal” to use during the night.
Blake’s advisors for the Battle Rounds this season were Dan + Shay. They helped Blake prepare his final pairing of Savanna Chestnut and Pete Mroz. The two artists were given the song “Have A Little Faith In Me” by John Hiatt to perform. I felt both artists did a really good job of singing the song. However, the years of experience Pete has shows in his confidence. The lesser experienced Savanna shows her lack of confidence in her performance. Blake makes the choice to move forward with Pete Mroz remaining on Team Blake.
Nick Jonas pairs Raine Stern with Andrew Marshall from Team Nick. The two sing the song “Adore You” by Harry Styles. I felt like Andrew had the better performance, but it could have been because the song was more suited to him. Nick chose to keep Raine on his team heading to the Knockouts leaving Andrew available to “Steal.” That is exactly what Blake did, “Steal” Andrew to Team Blake.

Next week the Knockout Rounds begin with all the teams getting help from mega-mentor Snoop Dogg!
