Last night (3/22) was the final night of the Blind Auditions for season 20 of The Voice. Which artist chose Blake Shelton to become the last member of Team Blake?

All of the coaches began the episode needing to add just one artist each to complete their respective teams. Blake, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson all turn for the night’s first artist. John gets the artist to fill his team.

The next artist gets Kelly and Nick Jonas to press their buttons. This time Nick is the coach chosen.

When 21-year-old Keegan Ferrell sings “You Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5, Kelly again presses her button. With just a handful of seconds remaining Blake also presses his button. Kelly makes a very solid pitch for Keegan to join her team. Blake has some fun and throws out the idea that Kelly is the reason Adam Levine of Maroon 5 is no longer on the show.

Since Keegan is a pop singer and Kelly is a pop superstar (and she turned so much earlier than Blake), it seems like this should be an easy win for Kelly. The video clip below was posted as a tease for the show. That means it does not show who Keegan picks.

Keegan surprisingly chooses Blake Shelton and becomes the final member of Team Blake.

Kelly’s tough night can’t last forever. Since she is now the last coach with a spot open, whomever she presses her button for next will become her last team member.

Next week the Battle Rounds begin. We found out that Kelly Clarkson will have to sit out the Battles due to illness. Pinch hitting for Kelly will be country music star Kelsea Ballerini in Kelly’s big red chair.

Blake Shelton will be getting help from the award winning duo of Dan + Shay as Team Blake advisors for season 20.

The Battle Rounds begin on The Voice Monday, March 29th.
