Last night (3/9) was the second night of the second week of Blind Auditions on season 20 of The Voice. Who did Blake Shelton persuade to join Team Blake?

Connor Christian is a 23-year-old rocker. He brings his guitar to the stage and shreds on the guitar while putting his raspy vocals to work on the song “Bright Lights.” Blake presses his button for the performance. Very near the end Nick Jonas turns his chair with Kelly Clarkson jumping in with just seconds to spare. Kelly and Nick go pretty hard and seem to be battling each other. Blake simply compliments Connor on a great performance explains how excited he would be to be his coach. This time the “less is more” approach pays of as Connor chooses to join Team Blake.

Blake Shelton adds that single artist to and brings Team Blake’s total to seven artists.

Both Nick and John Legend also add a single artist each to their teams. That also brings the totals for Team Nick and Team Legend to seven each.

Kelly Clarkson won the night scoring two artists for her team. That also brings Team Kelly’s total to seven artists.

Each team only needs three artists to be completed for season 20. That makes it quite likely that the Blind Auditions will wrap up next week when The Voice returns Monday, 15th at 7 p.m. central time (8 p.m. eastern time) on NBC.
