Week two of the Blind Auditions started last night (3/8) on season 20 of The Voice. How many artists joined Team Blake by picking Blake Shelton as their coach?
Emma Caroline performs the song “Slow Burn.” The 25-year-old singer has a style that to me sounded like a mix between Kacey Musgraves (the original singer of her audition song) and Dolly Parton. Blake hit his button first. Kelly Clarkson turned her chair a while later nearer the end of the performance. Following the performance it was pretty much Kelly, Nick Jonas and John Legend trying to convince Emma to choice Kelly as her coach. Blake was left standing alone to persuade her to come to Team Blake. Like the majority of the time with country singers on The Voice when Blake presses his button, Emma Caroline chose to join Team Blake.
20-year-old Avery Roberson took the stage and performed the song “If You’re Reading This.” John pressed his button early and first followed almost instantly by Kelly. A short time later Blake pressed his button. Nick made it a four chair turn at nearly the end of the performance. Again, it seemed to be three against one. Kelly, John and Nick worked on encouraging Avery to choose anybody but Blake. Blake assured him that Team Blake was the right choice. The video below was posted last Friday (3/5) as a sneak peek at last night’s episode so it does not show who Avery picked as his coach. He picked Blake and joined Team Blake.

Blake added two new artists to Team Blake last night bring his total to six.
Nick also added two artists bringing the Team Nick total to six as well.
Kelly scored two artists as well. However, her Team Kelly total is just five.
John had the best night adding three artists and bringing the total to six for Team Legend.
