Darius Rucker has made many songs over the course of his career. However, his current single “Beers And Sunshine” was a first for the veteran song-crafter.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, Darius had to create his latest single in a completely new way to him … remotely.

“‘Beers and Sunshine’ is the first song I’ve done totally virtual where no one was ever in the room together. My producer made a demo thing. Then, we kind of sung on it and then I put a demo on it. And then he basically zoomed with the drummer and then zoomed with the bass player and then zoomed with the guitar player and that’s how we did the whole record, so that was pretty cool.”

The song sounds just as good as one produced in an actual recording studio to me. The song will be on a forthcoming new album from Darius.
