Last night (11/30) was the first live show for season 19 of The Voice. How did Blake Shelton’s team do?
The first night of the Live Playoffs began by revealing the final winner of the Knockout Rounds. Each coach had a “Save” during the Battle Rounds. The four artists that earned their coach’s “Save” faced-off in a four-way battle to end the Knockout Rounds. America voted after the performances to determine which one of those artists would be in the Live Payoffs. Team Blake’s Taryn Papa was revealed as the winner giving Blake five artists out of 17 in the Live Playoffs. The other coaches each has four artists as the live performances begin.
The Voice host Carson Daly also revealed that the Top 17 will be reduced to the Top Nine for next week’s round of the competition. Each team had their time in the spotlight last night as each team member performed one after another on the show. Team Kelly went first followed by Team Gwen. Then, it was Team Blake’s turn.
Jim Ranger performed “Rumor” by Lee Brice
Worth the Wait performed “Love Is Alive” by The Judds
Ian Flanigan performed “Make You Feel My Love” by Bob Dylan
Taryn Papa performed “I Hope You’re Happy Now” by Carly Pearce and Lee Brice
Sid Kingsley performed “Beyond” by Leon Bridges
Team Legend was the final team in the spotlight.

Typically at this point of the season America’s vote determines one person on each team to advance. Each coach then gets to save one artist to advance to the semi-finals. Carson already revealed that there will be an “Instant Save” to determine the ninth artist to advance to next week’s show.
We will find out all of the results tonight (12/1) on season 19 of The Voice at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
