Tim McGraw is a pretty good cook. When he and Faith Hill were dating, he wooed her with a pot of homemade chicken and dumplings. He also says these days he makes a “pretty dang good country fried steak.” But when it comes to Thanksgiving, Tim says he just tries to stay out of the way. “For Thanksgiving, I don’t cook. Faith does all the cooking for Thanksgiving.”

As far as some or the absolute must-haves on Tim and Faith’s Thanksgiving table, he says, “We have to have turkey, we have to have our stuffing and we have to have cornbread and peas, of course.”

For what it’s worth, Tim not cooking on Thanksgiving is not him being lazy, it’s more about letting Faith do things the way she wants them done and giving her the space to do it.
