The fourth night of Blind Auditions took place on season 19 of The Voice last night (10/27). Was Blake Shelton able to expand the number of artists on Team Blake?
We found out earlier in the day the Blake will officially expand the home version of Team Blake. He finally proposed to Gwen Stefani and apparently she said yes.
Now let’s explore which artists said yes to being a part of Team Blake on The Voice.
Sam Stacy did a very up close and personal sounding version of “Fire And Rain” by James Taylor. Kelly Clarkson pressed her button very late in the performance. Blake quickly followed by pressing his button with Gwen joining them seconds later. Sam calls Blake a “wild card” and decides to play that card by joining Team Blake.
Payton Lamar performs Tori Kelly and Kirk Franklin’s song “Never Alone” for her Blind Audition. To be honest, it wasn’t the strongest audition I’ve heard. However, there were plenty of really good moments and I felt like her voice has a really good tone. Blake also heard potential and talent in Tori as he gives her a solo buzzer beater button press. He says that he is there as a coach to help her get better and pledges we will hear a big difference in her next performance on the show.
The second week of Blind Auditions ends with Blake, Gwen and Kelly having eight members on each of their teams. John Legend is one behind them ending the week with seven members on his team.
Find out which artists joined the other three teams on the official YouTube channel The Voice here.
The Blind Auditions will continue (and likely wrap up) next week on Monday, November 2nd starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
