What have country music singer-songwriters and female duo Maddie & Tae been doing during quarantine?
Both ladies are newlyweds as Maddie Marlow married Jonah Font November 11, 2019 and Taylor Dye said “I Do” to Josh Kerr February 21, 2020.
Just like most of us, the two young laddies have been finding things to do at home during the pandemic quarantine. For Maddie, it appears that she has been working on her culinary skills. She has a dish she feels she has really mastered and a treat that also deserves high marks in her view.
“My chicken enchiladas are so perfect, like Tex-Mex style. And then I would say baking, I would say my sour cream coffee cake. I know it sounds weird,” Maddie states.
Taylor interjects, “Yum!”
Maddie added, “But it’s so good. I would say that.”
Taylor’s efforts have been directed in a completely different direction and room of the house.
“I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I’ve jumped on the Call of Duty trains,” Taylor admits, “I’ve been playing a lot of Call of Duty.”
“My husband would love that,” Maddie comments.
“My husband would more appreciate me baking,” Taylor laughingly replies, adding, “You know, you gotta do what you gotta do.”
The duo has also been climbing the country charts with their latest single. “Die From A Broken Heart” is in the Top 10 this week. Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
