This is a story about friendship and Unity. And Brad Paisley wound up being a really cool part of it.

Two best friends from New York wanted to make a simple statement and offer some solidarity during all of the protests across the nation. Marcus Ellis, who is Black, and Benjamin Smith, who is white, sat in their driveway with a cooler of beer and a sign that simply said “Black or White, relax and have a beer.”

As the duo was parked in their front yard in lawn chairs with some beers, their post went viral on Twitter, and before you knew it Brad Paisley had seen it and wanted to make sure the guys had enough beer for anyone who stopped by, so he shipped them a TON of beer and joined them for a Zoom call, where he chatted with the friends, their family and pretty much the entire neighborhood, and even sang them a few songs.

The friends said the fact that Brad reached out, meant the world to them!
