New father Kane Brown shares what the best part of being a father is to him. He also gives credit to his mentors growing up that taught him how to parent.

Late last year Kane and his wife, Katelyn Jae, welcomed their baby daughter Kingsley Rose to the world. The first time father recently shared what the best part of being a dad is to him.

“I think the best thing about being a father is just watching my daughter grow and get a personality. She is four months old, so I’m sure I’ll be able to tell y’all a lot more in the future. Right now it’s just watching her personality come in.”

Kane gives credit to some special people in his life who taught him how to parent by example as he grew up.

“I would have to say my mentor would be either my mom or my nana. I did have my grandparents, and grand-dads that were around, but I was mainly raised by women and they taught me just how to be a southern gentleman.”

Kane is getting to spend extra time at home with his daughter because of the situation right now. It’s keeping him from feeling homesick for his baby and wife like his latest #1 single.
