Last night we final night of the Battle Rounds on Season 18 of The Voice. Blake Shelton had one final battle for Team Blake and a “Steal” to use.
Blake’s final pairing in the Battles was 41-year-old Todd Tilghman and 32-year-old Jon Mullins. Blake gave the two “Ghost In This House” by Shenandoah to perform. The singers did a great job with the song and performance.
Blake made the choice to move forward with Todd on his team. Just a side note, Todd was the first artist to join Team Blake for season 18.
If you are a fan of Jon, don’t worry … he remains on the show. Nick Jonas used his “Steal” to bring Jon to Team Nick.
Blake also had his “Steal” to use. When it came time for the final pairing of the Battle Rounds, it wasn’t hard to figure out Blake would be using it. The final two artists to face-off in the Battle Rounds were John Legend’s Cedrice vs. Thunderstorm Artis. John had them perform “Stay” by Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko.
John chose to move forward with Thunderstorm on Team Legend.
That left Cedrice available to “Steal” and Blake did just that bringing her to Team Blake.

Next week the Knockout Rounds begin. Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor is the Mega Mentor helping all the coaches prepare their teams for their performances. We will also see the first-ever “Four-Way-Knockout” between the four artists “Saved” by the coaches at some point.
The Knockouts begin Monday, April 13th at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
