Carrie is in New York promoting her new book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, so when the tornado hit Nashville last night, her husband Mike Fisher was the only one home with their two young sons.

She opened up on her Today show appearance that Mike took the boys to the safe room at around 2am while they waited out the severe storm.

Can you imagine not being home with your family while they were going through something like a natural disaster?!

Thankfully Carrie’s family is all safe, but that wasn’t the case for many families in the Nashville are. Our thoughts and prayers with everyone who lost a loved one, was harmed, or experienced this disaster.
