TMZ.com is reporting that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are getting a divorce that will be finalized today.

The website reports that its sources say that it was Blake who filed for the divorce a while ago that would end the couple’s four years of marriage.

According to TMZ the couple’s pre-nup outlined the financial arrangements should this scenario ever present itself for the country music superstar husband and wife.

TMZ quotes Blake and Miranda in a statement as saying: “This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy heart that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”

Blake and Miranda have appeared on stage together earlier this year as in the video below from a March Miranda Lambert concert where they sang “God Gave Me You.”

It looks like that after many false rumors of divorce over the years, country music’s favorite power couple are going their separate ways. This time it appears to be true that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are getting divorced.
