The first St. Jude Million Quarter Challenge is over and the Kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are the real winner!
However, who claimed “bragging rights”?
Eleven local bar-restaurants took part from the start of the challenge. A few more locations got involved later in the collecting time.

- The Spotted Dog – 7,028 quarters
- DR McKay’s Bar & Grill – 2,993 quarters
- The PASS Pub & Grill – 2,318 quarters
- Corpus Christie School – 948 quarters
- Reality Bites – 703 quarters
- Cheeks Bar & Grill – 685 quarters
- Old Town Tap & Restaurant – 607 quarters
- Pub II – 580 qaurters
- Radio Bloomington (B104, WBNQ, WJBC) – 292 quarters
- Gill Street Sports Bar & Restaurant – 235 quarters
- Joe’s Station House Pizza Pub – 206 quarters
- Elroy’s – 196 quarters
- Joe’s Pub – 187 quarters
Don’t forget Tito’s Vodka got the ball rolling with a donation of 4,000 quarters! That brings the total quarters collected to 29,776!!
That’s $7,445 going to help the children and families of St. Jude!
The Windjammer Lounge can claim “bragging rights” for collecting the most quarters, but as stated earlier it’s the kids of St. Jude that are the real winners!
