Last night (11/19) was the Top 13 Live Elimination Show on season 17 of The Voice. The artists performed Monday night (11/18) and waited for America to vote. By the end of the one-hour episode last night two artists would have their journeys on the show come to an end.
During the episode 10 artists who would be advance through the voting safely were revealed. The bottom three would have to perform live and hope to win the Wildcard Instant Save to get the final spot in the Top 11.
Ricky Duran and Kat Hammock from Team Blake were announced as safe and moving on to next week on the show. Unfortunately for Blake Shelton, his third artist Cali Wilson would have to try to be the Wildcard Instant Save artist for the night.
Joining Cali in the bottom three to perform live were Joana Martinez (Team Gwen) and Max Boyle (Team Kelly).
When the performances were done, the Instant Save voting began. When the voting window closed the results were revealed.
Team Gwen’s Joana Martinez won the Wildcard Instant Save.
Next week’s Top 11 will include two Team Blake artists and three artists each on Team Gwen, Team Kelly and Team Legend. You can see which artists remain on each team at the official website of The Voice here.
The competition continues with the live performance show Monday, November 25th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
