Last night (11/6) the final battles in the Knockout Rounds on season 17 of The Voice took place.
Blake Shelton had one pairing left and a “Steal” to use when the episode began. He matched Zach Bridges (28-years-old) with Ricky Braddy (36-years-old) for his final battle in the Knockout Rounds for Team Blake.
Ricky made the bold decision to sing “So High” by John Legend on the stage in front of John himself.
Zach also made a decision that was a big challenge choosing the iconic Garth Brooks song “The Dance” for his performance.
Both artists did a very good job leaving Blake with a tough decision. Ultimately he decided to keep Ricky on Team Blake for the Live Playoffs.
Kelly Clarkson had the final battle of the Knockout Rounds with Damali with Gracee Shriver. Both 16-year-old artists delivered great performances.
Kelly decided to keep Damali on her team. That enabled Blake to “Steal” the 16-year-old country hopeful Gracee for team Blake.
Team Blake is set for the Live Playoffs on season 16 of The Voice:
- Kat Hammock – 18-years-old
- Cali Wilson – 28-years-old
- Ricky Duran – 29-years-old
- Ricky Braddy – 36-years-old
- Gracee Shriver – 16-years-old
You can see what artists are on the other three teams at the official website of The Voice here.
Monday, November 11th the decision of which artists remain and which artists are eliminated transfers to the viewers. From the promo for next week’s show following last night’s episode, the Top 20 will apparently be cut down to the Top 13 next week. The Live Playoffs begin on The Voice Season 17 at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
