Tyler Farr and his fiancée, Hannah Freeman, are planning their wedding and the country singer-songwriter has noted a difference between men and women in the process.
Tyler popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Hannah at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville back in May of this year. Since then the couple have been planning the nuptials and Tyler has noticed that there are distinct differences in how men and women go about planning that special day.
“Once you get engaged, the plans of the wedding is all they seem to want to talk about: what, where, when, how, why,” Tyler says. He continues saying; “It over takes their minds and I understand why. Guys don’t necessarily need to go and visit the venue to see it, they can see pictures and be like ‘No, that looks like a cool place, let’s do it.’ But that’s not quite good enough. You have to go and visit it and see it, taste the grapes, taste the wine, taste the bread. Um…(laughs) it’s uh…women are interesting…they’re very interesting. I get amazed every single day and I’m sure my fiancée does, as well. I got lucky and ‘She Said Yes’ in the words of Rhett Akins.”
While the two may have different approaches to the planning process of the wedding, Tyler knew Hannah would be the one from the support she gave him from the very beginning of their relationship and while pursuing his dream of becoming a country music singer.
As a result, he is all in with the commitment to her and making the day very special; “It’s exciting. It’s a big step in my life and I’m very blessed. We’ve been very blessed for the past two, three years and (I’m) just glad she was here from…You know, she slept on a bench in a van pulling a U-Haul trailer on the way to some fair in Northeast Tennessee, so that’s all it took for me. You know, she’d been there from the beginning in support of me, and all of my crazy ways. She’s an awesome lady.”
While complete details about the wedding date are not being revealed, Tyler says the couple are planning a small October wedding that will happen in Tennessee.
