Here is our first look at Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani as both a couple and competitors on The Voice Season 17.

The last time the two music stars were competing coaches on the show their relationship beyond friendship was not public knowledge. Since that time not only has the personal relationship become public, it has grown stronger based on all indicators.

Earlier this year Adam Levine announced he would not return to his chair on the award winning TV singing competition. The show executives asked Gwen to fill the vacancy and she said yes. That left me (and likely many more) wondering how Blake and Gwen’s personal relationship would affect them as competing coaches on the show.

The promotional video posted by The Voice above gives us our first look at the answer to that question. It appears to me this could be an entertaining situation for fans of the show and the musical stars to watch.

Season 17 of The Voice premieres Monday, September 23rd 8/7c on NBC.
