The Olympia Pacesetters 4-H Hunger Ambassadors and Emergency Mini Food Pantries are in the running for a $25,000 grant from State Farm and YOU can help them get it!
The organization and program is addressing a current need of hunger in our rural community. They plan to install 10 sturdy, weatherproof, latching Emergency Mini Food Pantry(EMFP) with adequate lighting and signage and create community awareness about them. The EMFP will serve nine communities in four counties with a population of 353,590. Learn more about the program here.
The group and program was entered in the annual State Farm Neighborhood Assist program by Helping Hands Community Center in Stanford, IL. As of this morning (8/19) they ranked at #35. If they can remain in the Top 40 by the end of the day this Friday, August 23rd, they will receive a $25,000 State Farm.
That’s where YOU can help! Simply Go Vote For Them Here. That’s all! If we can help keep them at #35 or get higher they will be able to help more people in their communities in need.
Good Luck in getting the grant and Thank You for what you are doing Olympia Pacesetters 4-H!
