Maybe Disney’s ‘reboot’ fever has reached peak levels. Disney has announced that they will be remaking Home Alone AND Night at the Museum for their new streaming service, Disney +. Well, they’re actually calling them “re-imaginings” according to the BBC but we all know what that means.

Also getting the re-imagining treatment will be ‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid’ and ‘Cheaper By The Dozen’.

Why is Disney doing this? Because they can and we’ll all likely watch it. You can read all about it HERE.

Speaking of Disney +…Disney’s streaming service will be available on November 12th and will include over 7,500 TV episodes AND 400 movies (Including Marvel and Star Wars). During an investors call Tuesday, Disney announced a bundle package that will give you access to Disney +, ESPN +, and Hulu (with ads) for $12.99 a month. If you’re wondering what my reaction (and every other parent of a small child’s reaction) was, this gif pretty much sums it up.

All that content for $12.99?? Yeah, sign me up on November 12th.

Speaking of that investors call, Disney announced they have made $8 BILLION at the global box office so far in 2019 thanks to movies like ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Toy Story’. And that’s without ‘Star Wars:The Rise Of Skywalker’ which comes into theaters in December. Not a bad year for the house of mouse.
