There is a great possibility that this will be the next hot line dance in clubs, at wedding receptions and everywhere people gather to dance!

Blanco Brown is celebrating his song “The Git Up” going viral. The song simultaneously tops Billboard‘s Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts for a second week each, with more than 21 million streams in the U.S. and 34,000 copies sold.

In only its fifth week on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart, “The Git Up” also completes the quickest trip to #1 on the chart since Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road” in 2017. Blanco says he has always been a big Sam Hunt fan, so it’s humbling to even be mentioned alongside him:

“I used to reach out to like people who were around him to say, ‘Hey man, can we get in and write something together? I want to write a record with him.’ And it’s just … it’s just an honor to be on … you know, recognized with that same name as somebody I looked up to and look up to.”
