NOOOOOOOOOOOO! THIS IS MY GREATEST FEAR!

I remember going to Willis Tower, or as we knew it Sears Tower back in the day, and throwing a fit because my family was trying to get me to go on the glass skydeck. Ummm, nope! I wasn’t feeling it back then, and I’m not feeling it now as an adult.

And SEE, I was right? That thing is a death trap!

It gave me so much anxiety to think about standing on a piece of glass, 100 feet in the air, and seeing the busy streets of Chicago below your feet. I used to have nightmares that the glass would break under my feet…and guess what??? IT DID!

And this wasn’t the first time, for the second time in 5 years (the last time was in 2014), the protective coating on the glass skydeck cracked while visitors were standing on it, and guests said they looked “pale with fear”!

Ummmm, yea, that’s because what everybody thought would never happen, actually happened!

I love how someone from Willis Tower released a statement say “no one was ever in danger.” Ummm….tell that to my heart that jumped out of my chest. They immediately closed the tower on Monday, repaired the glass, and it was open for business the next day.

But, footage was already posted to social media, and had me and many others relieving this HUGE fear!
