Tailgate N’ Tallboys Music Festival set to kick-off on
June 13 on the Peoria, Illinois Riverfront!
The 4th Annual Tailgate N’ Tallboys Music Festival will begin on Thursday June 13 on the Peoria Riverfront. The first weekend of the festival will run through Sunday June 16. Gate and start times are listed below. Set to perform with many support acts are headliners: Brett Young, Kane Brown and Brett Eldredge. The Kick-Off Party on Thursday June 13 will feature Bret Michaels from Poison. The Kick-off party is just $15 but if you have a ticket to any other date of the festival (including July and September) the kick-off party is included, so ticket holders will get in free with festival tickets.
Leon Edwards, VP Marketing of Inked Entertainment stated, “While we are deeply sympathetic to all of the area businesses and events that are affected by the river level, we are extremely thankful that we have not been affected”. The piece of the Riverfront that the festival sits on (Festival Park), is at a higher part of the riverbank, thus is not as likely to flood as other areas down and up the river. There is no cause for alarm concerning the festival, all previously published times and acts will go on without change.

- Kids 6 and under are free, with paid adult
- There will be multiple food, beverage and retail vendors on site – each day.
- Cash bars this year – no beer tickets!
- Lawn chairs are allowed in general admission area.
- Box office will be open 2 hours before the first performer and located just
under the Gateway Building. - Reentry is allowed.
- Tickets will be available for purchase each day at the box office.
- Events are rain or shine.
- Any bags must be 13” x 15” x 6” or smaller. Diaper bags and bags needed for
medical equipment/medication will be allowed upon inspection. - No coolers, outside food or drink are allowed
Shuttles will be running Friday through Sunday. Shuttles will pick-up and drop-off at Crusens on Farmington Road, the East Peoria City Lot in front of Logan’s Roadhouse and East Port Marina. Shuttle passes can be purchased in advance (before Friday) for $20 for unlimited rides or purchased on the bus for $5 per trip.
Crusens on Farmington Road in Peoria is offering a FREE Lunch Buffet for ALL Tailgate N’ Tallboys ticket holders on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Lunch is from 1P to 5P. $2 Tallboys all day as well as a Tito’s Bloody Mary Bar and other drink specials!
Crusens is also home of the OFFICIAL Tailgate After Party with Carter Winter on Friday Night and Sweet Tea Trio on Saturday Night! After Party shows start at 11:30P each night! Tickets for the AfterParty Show can be purchased on the festival website.
