(WARNING: SOME SPOILERS OF GOT SEASON 8: EPISODE 3 AHEAD) 

Okay, maybe it’s not fair to blame all of this on Jon Snow. There were other people at the War Council who saw his plan and OK’d it after all.

(SERIOUSLY, THE SPOILERS ARE COMING) 

The battle starts off with the Dothraki charging into the night against the Army of The Dead with the rest of the army behind them. I’m no military or battle strategy expert, but but I couldn’t help but think this was a bad idea. It turns out, I wasn’t alone.

The folks over at VOX.COM, talked to veterans and military experts about the strategy used by those defending Winterfell. In short, it left a lot to be desired. The experts questioned why the forces of the living were out in the open against such a massive enemy force among other things. Read the whole article, it’s really a fascinating read.

As we know, thanks to Arya, the living defeat the dead and now apparently want to head off to take the Iron Throne. They don’t exactly have an army anymore though, so I’m curious how they will pull that off!
