Maren Morris stopped by one of my favorite late night treats this week and made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live where she admitted to being denied on both The Voice and American Idol, (which I knew), but that’s not the only rejection she had along the way…

On the after show, Maggie called in to asked about Maren being rejected on the AI and The Voice, but Maren said that wasn’t even the half of it…

Morris responded: “Oh yeah, and that’s not even it. I was rejected from America’s Got Talent. There were a ton that I didn’t make it to, thank God. People cover my songs for their auditions on those shows, so it’s like, not only is it really nice to have my song on a national television show, but get to collect the check and have some sweet revenge.”

I bet they are all kicking themselves now that she has found HUGE success lol!

She also reveals how her husband, Ryan Hurd, used the Real Housewives in their vows at their wedding…

And last but not least, Maren admitted she wasn’t the first choice for her hit with Zedd “The Middle”…
