Last night (12/10) the Top 8 performed live in the Semi-Finals on season 15 of The Voice. How did Blake Shelton‘s remaining two artists on Team Blake do?
Tonight the Top 8 will be cut in half to set the stage for next week’s season finale on The Voice. The artists performed a solo last night as well as a duet with one of the other remaining contestants on the show. Fans could use Twitter to cast votes for the duets that would go to both artists in that particular performance.
Team Blake’s Chris Kroeze performed “Can’t You See” for his solo performance. Kirk Jay sang “I Swear” as his solo song. Watch both performances below.
Kirk Jay was teamed with Team Kelly’s Chevel Shepherd for the duet, mash-up performance of “She’s Country” and “Country Must Be Country Wide.” Watch it below.
Another Team Kelly-Team Blake pairing saw Sarah Grace and Chris Kroeze perform the mash-up of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Chain of Fools” that you can watch below.
You can watch the rest of last night’s performances at The Voice YouTube channel here or their official website here.
I checked the iTunes all-genre chart at around 8:30 AM central time this morning. Below are where last night’s solo performances ranked on that chart at that time.
Rank – Artist “Song Title” – Team
#4 – Kirk Jay “I Sear” – Team Blake
#5 – Chevel Shepherd “Blue” – Team Kelly
#11 – Reagan Strange “You Are The Reason” – Team Adam
#12 – Kennedy Holmes “This Is Me” – Team JHud
#15 – Chris Kroeze “Can’t You See” – Team Blake
#19 – MaKenzie Thomas “Vision Of Love” – Team JHud
#50 – Sarah Grace “Sign of the Times” – Team Kelly
#102 – Kymberli Joye “Never Alone” – Team Kelly
Do these rankings indicate who will move on to the finals next week? Maybe … maybe not. There are a handful of other voting methods that we cannot track.
According to the official website of The Voice the will be a “Twitter Save” on tonight’s results show. That indicates the top three in votes will be revealed leaving the bottom four to perform. Those four will hope to get the final spot among the top four in next week’s season finale.
We will find out which four artists make the finals of The Voice Season 15 tonight starting at 7 PM central time (8 Pm eastern time) on NBC.
