It’s one of the hardest things for a woman to go through, let alone talk about, but Carrie Underwood opened up in a new interview about her struggles with pregnancy, and revealed she suffered 3 miscarriages in the last 2 years.

Carrie is now pregnant with her second child with husband Mike Fisher, but actually thought she lost this baby as well. Until, one day at the doctor, she went to confirm a fourth miscarriage, but instead they told her everything looked great and she would be welcoming a second child!

During all of this, Carrie smiled for camera’s and threw herself into songwriting for her newest album “Cry Pretty.” I think it’s safe to assume that this album will be her most personal album yet.

Cry Pretty is available now. Carrie will embark on a new tour with Maddie & Tae and Runaway June in spring 2019.
