Thomas Rhett got to spend some off time with his wife in Italy recently where (among other things) they had a moped adventure.
Thomas Rhett and Lauren were in northern Italy where they enjoyed some time together seeing Mt. Vesuvius (pictured above), seeing the blue grotto in Capri, checking out the sites of Tuscany and more as you can see on their Instagram accounts here and here.
One of the things they did was rent a moped to go sightseeing. However, the adventure had a rough start.
“Me and Lauren rented a moped, which was probably one of the worst best decisions we ever made,” the “Life Changes” singer-songwriter shared. “Our friends rented a moped as well, and they literally; when they pulled out of the moped parking lot, their moped fell onto the side, like in the middle of the street.”
That left Thomas Rhett wondering if they should still head out on the adventure.
“Me and Lauren were like, are we still gonna do this? And Lauren was like, ‘Yep’,” he explained, “And I was like, ‘Alright, here we go’.”
The adventure may have started off rough, but it turned out to be a great time for the happy couple.
“we literally drove that thing five hours up around Lake Como and saw George Clooney’s house, and it was pretty awesome,” Thomas Rhett said.
Thomas Rhett is back in the United States where he spent some time in the studio and is heading back out on the fall leg of his “Life Changes Tour 2018” starting tomorrow (9/13) in Bangor, Maine. Find out where the tour will be stopping here.
