Sam Hunt has been getting more and more busy. However, he has a plan on getting a new album released.
Sam recently released his new song “Downtown’s Dead.” It sounds like he had plans on getting a new album with that song on it done over the summer. However, something came up that changed those plans.
“I didn’t plan on touring this summer,” he shares, “but an opportunity came up to go out with Luke Bryan and I couldn’t pass it up because it was such a great opportunity.”
That forced an adjustment to the timeline of getting a new album completed.
“At the end of the summer [or] fall,” Sam says, “I think I’m gonna be able to, hopefully, be able to sink my teeth into a project and have some new music ready to go before too long after that.”
The timeline for completing the new album has shifted to late summer/early fall. That means it is possible that a new album from Sam Hunt could be ready for the gift giving season this year. Of course that is providing something else doesn’t come along that forces Sam to adjust the timeline again.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
