Last night we found out what artists will make up the Top 12 in the Live Playoffs on The Voice Season 14.
The live shows started this week Monday (4/16) with the remaining 24 artists all performing a song and hoping to get the most real-time votes to earn an automatic advance to the Top 12 at the end of the episode. One artist from each team earned that honor. For Blake Shelton it was Kyla Jade that won the automatic advance on Team Blake.
The remaining five artists on each team had to perform on either Tuesday (4/17) or Wednesday (4/18) in hopes of getting enough votes to make it to the Top 12. There were only two spots for each team available to be filled.
Team Blake and Team Alicia performed Tuesday night while Team Adam and Team Kelly performed last night. The voting was active for each team from that team’s first performance to just after the last performance from the final team member.
After the performances were complete last night and the voting closed, the results for each team were revealed.
Team Blake artists Pryor Baird, Wilkes, Spensha Baker, Austin Giorgio and Gary Edwards gathered on The Voice stage to find out their fate on the show.
It was first revealed that Pryor Baird would advance to the Top 12 based on America’s votes.
It was then up to coach Blake Shelton to make the choice of which of his remaining four artists would advance to the Top 12. It was a difficult decision for him to make and he said his decision was made based on the excitement of what the chosen artist could do for the genre and announced that his pick to move on to the Top 12 was country music hopeful Spensha Baker.

If things remain as they have been on the past, from this point forward on season 14 of The Voice which artists remain and which go home will be based totally on America’s votes regardless of what team they are on.
