Inked Entertainment Announces Summer Kickoff Party for
Tailgate N’ Tallboys!
All Concerts to Be Held at Peoria RiverFront Park
PEORIA, Ill. (April 18, 2018) – Inked Entertainment, LLC has announced the Summer Kickoff Party, to take place on Thursday, June 14 on the Peoria Riverfront. Frankie Ballard will be headlining, and Walker County will be support for the show. June 14 was scheduled as way to get festival goers warmed up for the big June weekend of Tailgate N’ Tallboys! This is an additional date on top of the already scheduled 6 date Music Series. Tickets for Thursday June 14 are included in ALL 3 Day and 6 Pack Passes. 3 Day Pass (June 15-17) or 6 Pack Pass ticket holders will get FREE ENTRY into the June 14 Summer Kickoff party (with their tickets). June 14 Individual Day tickets will also be sold. Tickets can be purchased from the festival website www.TailgateNtallboys.com.
This announcement comes just over 2 weeks before tickets for the 6 Pack Pass, July 2 Day Pass and June Single Day tickets go up in price.
The price increase will happen on May 6. Tailgate N’ Tallboys will be held at RiverFront Park in downtown Peoria for the second year. In 2018, the series will span 7 dates. June 14, 15, 16, and 17 will be the first set of concerts and July 20 and 21 will follow. There will be a final concert on Saturday, September 15th with the headliner to be announced in late June. In addition to the main stage performances, there will be numerous local and regional performers on the Pre-Party Stage, as well as various festival activities throughout the series. About Walker County
Ivy Dene and Sophie Dawn comprise the sister duo Walker County. Originally from Sulpher Springs, IN, the Walker sisters fostered their love of music with frequent trips to Nashville, busking on lower Broadway. They relocated to Nashville fulltime four years ago to fully pursue their musical destiny. With Ivy masterfully maneuvering an outstanding range as lead vocals, her younger counterpart Sophie harmonizes beautifully and keeps the rhythm playing drums. Walker County can tout itself a full family affair as the duo’s father, Billy Walker, plays lead guitar for the band. Walker County extends their roots into traditional country, intertwining their soulfulness with southern rock flair. The duo has shared the stage with country greats like Dwight Yoakam, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Martina McBride as well as breakout acts like Old Dominion and Eli Young Band. Walker County has been turning heads since they first stepped on stage. Now signed to Warner Music Nashville, sisters Ivy and Sophie are ready to take the world by storm.
