Luke Bryan‘s 20th career #1 single “Most People Are Good” holds the top spot on the singles charts for a second week and he says it’s a song of hope.

Last week Luke reached a career milestone as “Most People Are Good” reached the top of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts. The advance release of both of these charts show Luke’s song in the number one spot for a second consecutive week.

The song was co-written by David Frasier, Ed Hill, and Josh Kear. Luke says the song is a song of hope.

“I think it’s a song that will truly help people believe in people again,” he states. “I think it’s so truthful in so many ways. We do get reminded every day of all the negativity of what humans are, and truly it’s only .001 percent of people causing all the negativity. I mean, I truly believe that.”
