The Battle Rounds continued last night (3/27) on The Voice. What did Blake Shelton do with Team Blake for season 14? Let’s take a look.
Blake paired Kaleb Lee with Pryor Lee for the Battle Rounds. He gave the rock-country style singers the iconic Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song “Don’t Do Me Like That.” The song was a little more in Pryor’s wheelhouse, but Kaleb did a great job in adapting it to show off his own vocal abilities.
Blake make the difficult decision to keep Pryor on his team moving forward. However, Kaleb remains on the show as Kelly Clarkson was impressed enough with him to steal him to her team.
Blake also paired Wilkes with Jordan Kirkdorffer. For this battle Blake chose the song “Nobody To Blame” by Chris Stapleton. The song fits the roughness of Wilkes’ voice better than the smooth sound Jordan has. However, both artists did a great job in the performance.
Blake chose to keep Wilkes on Team Blake moving forward. I would bet that Jordan has to be a strong possibility for Blake’s “comeback artist” if they do that again this season later in the season.
Alicia Keys paired her two youngest artists for a battle. 18-year-old Britton Buchanan and 16-year-old Jaclyn Lovey did a duet-styled version of Ed Sheeran‘s “Thinking Outloud.” Both young performers did an amazing job on the song.
Alicia made the decision to keep Britton on her team after the battle. That left Jaclyn available to be stolen and that is what Blake bringing the 16-year-old to Team Blake with his final steal of the round.

The three-night, Battle Round ending week continues tonight on The Voice Season 14. There are only two pairings left for Blake Shelton for us to see. We might see one or both tonight when the show begins at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
