We get our first look at season 14 of The Voice with Blake Shelton thanks to a new promo for the show just released.
Based on the promo with clips from the new season we can see some things that are the same and some things that are new.
What is the same? Blake and Adam Levine are back remaining the only two stars to serve as coaches in every season of the show to date. The playful banter and ribbing continues between the two that are likely one of the favorite celebrity bro-mances in entertainment.
What is new? Right off the bat you will notice that the famous rotating chairs have been redesigned. It will be interesting to see what the coaches say about them.
Alicia Keys returns as one of the coaches for this season and Kelly Clarkson makes her debut as a coach for season 14. In this promo that is supposed to tout the addition of Kelly to the show based on the video’s title “Never Underestimate the Power of Kelly Clarkson,” it would appear that Kelly is going to be a worthy challenger right out of the gate to Blake and the other coaches on the show.
Blake has won six of the 13 seasons to date including last season with Team Blake artist Chloe Kohanski. Will he be able to bring his winning percentage to 50% by winning his seventh season out of 14? We will see how it all begins when the Blind Auditions premier Monday, February 26th on NBC.
