Are there more cross-genre collaborations coming from country music superstars Florida Georgia Line?
Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have combined forces on songs with other country music artists like Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Jake Owen. However, they have also stepped across the genre line to collaborate with music artists including Nelly on a re-make of their mega-hit song “Cruise,” The Backstreet Boys on their song “God, Your Mama, And Me” and more recently Bebe Rexha on her song “Meant To Be.”
That brings us to the question above in the title of this blog.
“You know, as long as it comes organically and the timing’s right and it makes sense, I think we’ll always kind of do stuff like that,” says Brian, “I don’t think that would ever stop.”
He explains that it is all about making music in whatever form it feels right to him and Tyler. “We’ll always continue to make music and do what we’ve always done in that way,” Brian explains, “If it feels right, you’ve gotta push boundaries man, you’ve got to make cool music and get together with other friends and see what happens.”
Brian shares that he and his duo partner feel like it is what they are meant to do, “I think that’s what we’re here for, to create some different things.”
Florida Georgia Line even took things a step farther by adding rapper/hip-hop star Nelly to their “The Smooth Tour 2017.”
So, are there more cross-genre collaborations coming from country music superstars Florida Georgia Line? The answer is more than likely.
