Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy have three children, one of which was born on Christmas Day.
The couple’s two daughters are Evie (9-years-old) and Jordan (6-years-old) and their son is Knox (4-years-old).
Jordan is the middle child and will turn seven on Christmas Day this year (12-25-2017). Her father knows that having a birthday on such a big holiday is not easy for his young daughter.
“It’s tough kind of for Jordan because her birthday IS on Christmas,” Dierks admits.
He says that he and Cassidy do their best to make sure Casssidy feels special on her birthday. “It’s kind of one of those things where we try to give her an extra present or two,” Dierks explains, “It’s kind of tough to share your birthday with Jesus. You can get a little overshadowed on that one.”
Dierks says his daughter deals with being a “Christmas Baby” just fine, “She’s good about it.” However, while he and is wife keep the religious aspect of the holiday about Jesus, he says the rest is for his daughter, “We just tell her, ‘All these Christmas trees and lights, these are all for you.'”
