Have you watched the heart-breaking new music video for Thomas Rhett‘s latest single “Marry Me?”

The idea behind the story is (in the song and video), these two people grow up together. It is quite obvious that they are good friends. As the boy gets older his feeling toward the girl moves past just being friends. However, before he can do anything about those feelings she is set to get married to another guy.
The friend just can’t stand to watch her marry another guy, so he leaves the wedding. The last thing you see is the boy sitting inside a diner with a very upset bride outside looking through the window.
This is where the question comes. Is the girl outside after exchanging vows with the other guy and upset with her friend for not being at her wedding? … OR … Is the girl outside and emotional because she walked out on her own wedding because she realized that she didn’t want to marry the guy she was about to and is in love with her friend who was not there?
