It is finally here! The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom dropped last night!

Couple of thoughts. First, it’s great to have Jeff Goldblum back! Second, this Jurassic movie seems to have a bit of a ‘Lost World’ feel doesn’t it? I always wanted that movie to be better than it was, maybe this one will be. And thirdly, the premise of this movie does seem a bit silly. Saving dinosaurs from an exploding island?

Well let’s put it in context. Think about all of the natural disasters we have seen in the last year. Hurricanes and wild fires seem to dominate headlines at least once a month. People are risking their lives to not only save their homes but the pets and wild life of the area as well. It makes sense. Jurassic Park has always strived for the human element so I respect what they are doing here.

Now! Back to the trailer! The amazing chemistry between star Chris Pratt and his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard is on full display and the idea that Chris Pratt’s character wants to save one of his raptors makes my heart warm.
