Carly Pearce has seen her career begin to grow in the past couple of years. However, apparently that success has come with a price according to her personal confession.
Carly has released her debut and scored a number one with her debut single “Every Little Thing” this year. The saying goes that “success comes with a price” and the singer-songwriter from Kentucky is revealing what that price has been for her.
“I have a problem with shoes,” Carly admits. It seems that the problem has been born as her career has really started moving forward, “I really didn’t even know that I had this problem until maybe like two years ago.”
How bad is this problem for Carly? “It’s so bad I don’t know how many shoes I have,” she confesses, “If you step into my closet there’s one little piece that’s not got a shoe near it, so I would say I probably have over 50 [pairs].”
What kind of shoes are her biggest weakness? “Booties and boots are my favorite, cowboy boots, all different kinds,” Carly says.
She also has a favorite brand for her affliction, “I think my favorite brand are Jeffrey Campbell. I have tons of them, all different kinds.”
The problem for Carly is so bad that she even has duplicates, “Some shoes I have the same shoe style in every color.”
OK, so as “problems” go I don’t think this one that Carly has to be too worried about. However, we can all do something to help her.
Make sure to check out her debut album Every Little Thing and perhaps even purchase a copy of it to help her have the funds to support her “shoe habit.” LOL
The follow-up to her debut #1 single “Every Little Thing” is a song called “Hide The Wine” … perhaps it should have been called “Hide The Shoes.”
