The Knockout Rounds concluded last night (11/7) on season 13 of The Voice. Blake Shelton had to make one final choice for Team Blake for the playoffs. Who did he choose?
The final two artists from Team Blake to battle in the Knockout Rounds were Megan Rose (stolen from Team Miley during the Battle Rounds) and Red Marlow.
Megan gave herself a difficult song to deliver when she chose Carrie Underwood‘s “Smoke Break.” It was obvious that the nerves were affecting her as she started. However, once she got going she did a pretty good job of recovering hitting some pretty impressive notes through her performance.
Red picked the song “Outskirts Of Heaven” by Craig Campbell for his performance. It was just a solid country country music performance from Red.
Blake made the decision to give the final spot on Team Blake for the playoffs on The Voice Season 13.
Team Blake for the playoffs consists of Mitchell Lee, Esera Tuaolo, Keisha Renee, Red Marlow and Chloe Kohanski whom Blake stole from Team Miley during the Knockout Rounds.
You can see all of the teams for the playoffs on season 13 of The Voice on their official website here.
The playoffs begin next week with a three-night round of competition. The coaches will each choose a “Comeback Artist” for their team to have a last chance at advancing to the live shows.
In a change from seasons past, the top 24 will sing for the coaches who will then each cut their teams in half personally instead of having viewers vote and help choose the top 12 for the live shows.
The first night of the playoffs on The Voice Season 13 is Monday, November 13th at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
