Luke Bryan was part of the Hand in Hand Telethon for Hurricane Relief last night (9/12), but he is taking it a step further by donating concert tickets and proceeds to Houston.
Luke was one of more than 100 celebrities that united for the multi-network, hour-long telethon Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief. The telethon has raised over $44 million for relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Luke tweeted out the picture below while he was answering phones to take donations to the efforts.

However, Luke is going a little further for hurricane relief. He has been working with the city of Houston to give tickets to his upcoming concert will take place at the outdoor Cynthia Woods Pavilion on September 22nd to first responder teams that helped when Hurrican Harvey hit the city.
Luke is also donating the proceeds from that concert to the Houston Community Fund to help the city as it continues the recovery process from the devastating storm.
Thanks to Luke Bryan for going the extra step and doing everything he can to help those that are dealing with these tragic situations and working to get their lives back together.
If you want to help out you can text “Harvey” to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross and their Hurricane Harvey relief efforts and/or text “Irma” to 90999 to donate $10 the American Red Cross and their Hurricane Irma relief efforts. To steal the title from Luke’s current single that you can hear on B104, if you want to help then “Light It Up.”
