With Katy Perry all set to judge American Idol, it has people asking who is going to fill the other seats? Could one of our favorite country boys, Luke Bryan, be shaking it with Katy Perry as a judge for 2018?

The remaining judges slots need to fill up fast with auditions scheduled to start on August 17th in Florida, and so far Katy Perry is the only one on board! Ryan Seacrest was finally locked down to return as the host a week ago, but there are still at least two, if not three empty seats!

Just this week three names started to appear in the media as possibilities…Lionel Richie, Charlie Puth, and Luke Bryan! Luke makes total sense with his success and popularity in country music, and if they aren’t going to sneak Simon Cowell in there, they need SOMEONE that is going to make people say, “NOW I’m DEFINITELY going to tune in!”

Let’s hope negotiations begin and they can get a few more judges locked down! But with Katy Perry’s $25 million contract…is there a budget left to afford anyone else?
