You listen to Aaron Short on the weekends here on B104 and he fills in for me and Dan Westhoff when we are on vacation. He is also part of a band called The Bashful Youngens.

That band has released their first fully produced and directed music video for a song called “Hand In Mine.”

The band is based out of Champaign, IL and feature Aaron and Carrie Chandler up front as the singers and they are also the song writers for the band. You also see in the music video Stephen Johnson on drums, Matt Chupp on lead guitar and Brian Hildebrand on bass guitar.

The group considers themselves to be in the Americana genre. That genre of music has a definite country flavor to it in my opinion. This song by The Bashful Youngens has a very country flavor and feel to it.

The music video begins with a young man looking at a flyer for a barn dance. He proceeds to ask a young lady to join him for the dance. Does she say yes? Watch the music video for “Hand In Mine” by The Bashful Youngens above to find out what happens.
