Darius Rucker held his annual “Darius and Friends” concert and golf tournament in Nashville this week and raised over $220,000 for St. Jude.
Darius was joined Monday (6/8) by Little Big Town, Brett Eldredge, A Thousand Horses (ATH), Brothers Osborne, Scotty McCreery and Steve Wariner at the Wild Horse Saloon for the benefit concert.
Tuesday (6/9) Darius, Brett, Scotty and the guys from ATH were joined by Vince Gill, JT Hodges, Jon Pardi, Joe Nichols, Cole Swindell, David Nail, Dustin Lynch, James Otto and Jana Kramer on the links to add to the benefit total.
This is the sixth year Darius has hosted the benefit concert-golf outing. This year’s total of more than $220,000 nearly doubled last year’s record total of $120,000.
The annual benefit has allowed Darius and his friends to donate a total of $660,000 to help St. Jude’s mission of fighting childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Congratulations to Darius Rucker and his friends on a very successful benefit event once again for St. Jude!
