Old Dominion has another hit on their hands with the song “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart.” You may wonder how Sasquatch got on the cover of the single.

The group’s Trevor Rosen has the story. “Our manager hit us up and he said ‘we need the single artwork like today. We have to turn it in.’ And we were like, ‘Man not much notice’,” he explains.

The group as whole did not want to just submit a photo of themselves for the artwork. Trevor told his friends and band mates, “I got this, I got this.”

“I grabbed a napkin and a sharpie and I drew the Sasquatch with a broken heart,” Trevor reveals, adding, “For ‘Song For Another Time,’ I sort of jokingly drew on this napkin this song for another time thing, this t-shirt idea and it was really bad and everyone laughed.”

Trevor admits he was kind of joking following what had happened with the previous napkin artwork he had created. He simply left his new napkin drawing on the bus and walked away from it without saying anything.

Trevor’s drawing was discovered by the group’s Matt Ramsey as Trevor explains, “Matt came walking off the bus holding it and he goes, ‘I get it… Sasquatch… no such thing…’ he says, ‘I actually think this is awesome, I want to use this’.”

Matt took Trevor’s napkin drawing to his tattoo artist and had her improve on it a little and that became the cover art for the single.

The single has reached the top 20 on the country radio airplay charts this week and continues to climb. There may or may not be such a thing as Sasquatch, but for Old Dominion there IS such a thing as another hit song and they appear to have it!
